An Alternative 823 Logo Design

 Philosophy

Roots:

Represents core values to be defined during 823 event. To be instilled within the mindset of team members as guiding principles, to perpetuate growth.

Ground:

Represents the concept of Ihsan, hiding the strong inner values instilled within the team. How ever big or how high we fly – we remain grounded and stay humble.

Sprouted leaves:

Represents the small step we are doing in this event, with few team members. Although small, the only way to grow is UP, and grow bigger. As time goes by tree will need to grip onto the ground much stronger. So the root; our core values also needs to grow deeper, to withstand any hurdles, or storm.

Inverted infinity or ‘8’:

Represents that we can be as big, or go as high as we can imagine – with the correct people, mindset and guiding principles.

823:

Represents this small step we are making which  insyallah will be carved as one of MIT’s defining moment in history – August, 2023.

Beyond Time:

Represents a catch phrase, that with strong core values and mindset, the tree will be able to withstand any challenges. It may break a few branches, but it’s only temporary. So long as it has the strong root, we will come back stronger and plough through the test of time.
